How to Tip The Repository: Email, Signal and Slack

Do you know something The Repository should investigate? Here’s how to get in touch.

Note: this is only for editorial tips. For advertising and other inquiries, get in touch here.

Some of our biggest stories start with tips from people like you. The Repository covers the companies, products, and people shaping the WordPress ecosystem — and we want to hear what’s happening behind the scenes.

We’re interested in insights into how decisions are made, how projects evolve, and how the community is impacted. Evidence matters: first-hand knowledge or documentation is far more valuable than speculation. If you’ve seen something the WordPress community should know about, get in touch.

How to tip The Repository

Email

Email is the easiest way to reach us. Send tips to the general Repository email here: he***@***********ry.email

If you are at risk of reprisals, don’t use your work email, Wi-Fi, or device.

Signal

You can also send tips using the Signal app, which encrypts text messages and calls. Signal’s servers store your number but they don’t store a log of who you communicate with or who communicates with you. It’s probably best that you don’t use a work phone. You can download Signal here.

You can reach our Publisher, Rae Morey, via her Signal username: rae.7376.

Slack

You can find our Publisher, Rae Morey, on Post Status Slack (username: rae) and WPAustralia Slack (Rae Morey).

We discourage contact via WordPress Slack since messages there have been caught up in the discovery process as part of WP Engine’s lawsuit.
